AFLW CAT ATTACK PODCAST – OCTOBER 9
Geelong has again left out captain Meghan McDonald as the Cats made two changes for Saturday’s virtual elimination final against the GWS Giants at GMHBA Stadium.
McDonald was omitted following the Cats’ 0-3 start to the season, but returned for the loss to Carlton last week.
She managed nine disposals, but only played 59 per cent of game time, the least of any Cat outside of ruck duo Piper Dunlop and Caitie Tipping.
Also coming out of last week’s team is Caitlin Thorne.
Julia Crockett-Grills returns from a hamstring injury suffered in the win over Port Adelaide, with big Erica Fowler recalled.
The Giants, who have never lost to Geelong in three previous meetings, have named an unchanged team.
