Another VFL hitout for Danger

April 9, 2021 5:10 pm in by

GEELONG has named suspended AFL duo Patrick Dangerfield and Gary Rohan in its VFL team for Saturday’s practice match against Collingwood at Deakin Uni.

It will mark Dangerfield’s second appearance for the Bankers after being a late inclusion for the match-up with Port Melbourne on March 27.

The pair are among 18 AFL-listed players named by the Cats, including big man Esava Ratugolea, who is on the comeback trail from a fractured leg.

Max Holmes and Charlie Constable, who both played in Geelong’s AFL win over Hawthorn on Easter Monday, are also in the squad.

In all, the Cats have named 29 players, with 11 of those from their VFL list, including ex-AFL Cats Aaron Black, Darcy Lang and Jackson Thurlow.

The match starts at midday.
