Captain Patrick Dangerfield will return, and off-season acquisition Jack Martin will play his first game in the Hoops when Geelong hosts Gold Coast at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday.
The Cats (8-4) have made two changes for the clash with the Suns (8-3), who sit three per cent clear in fourth spot.
Ollie Henry, who has struggled through the first half of the season, is listed as managed, while Ted Clohesy has been dropped and will miss the chance to play against his brother Sam.
Martin, who played 97 games for the Suns and 54 with Carlton, has been eased into the season after an injury-impacted 2024 limited him to just three matches.
He’s made two appearances at VFL level, gathering 17 disposals in a half against Footscray, followed by 22 in last week’s loss to Williamstown.
Gold Coast has recalled Ethan Read at the expense of Ned Moyle.
