Bailey Smith returns, and Shannon Neale has been named as Geelong unveiled its team for Saturday’s clash with Essendon at the MCG.
Smith was a late withdrawal from last week’s win over Gold Coast after failing to overcome a minor hamstring issue.
Neale was subbed out of the victory over the Suns after suffering an ankle injury in the second quarter.
Smith replaces Ted Clohesy, who was the late replacement last week.
In a sign of Geelong’s depth, Ollie Henry has been unable to find his way back into the team after being managed last week.
Joining him as an emergency are veteran defender Jed Bews, and the versatile Jack Bowes, who has overcome a hamstring injury suffered against Port Adelaide last month.
Essendon will unveil its ninth and tenth debutants of the season, with mid-season draftees Lachie Blakiston and Archie May to take on Geelong.
They replace the suspended Sam Durham and the omitted Ben Hobbs.
