Shaun Mannagh’s six-goal performance in the VFL has proven too hard for the Geelong coaching staff to ignore after being recalled to the AFL team for Saturday’s twilight clash with Hawthorn at GMHBA Stadium.
The mature-age draftee is one of two inclusions for the Cats, with Ollie Henry returning after missing the win over Essendon.
They replace omitted duo Jhye Clark and Mark O’Connor.
Mannagh featured in the opening two rounds before being dropped.
He’s kicked 23.9 in eight VFL games while averaging 17 disposals.
Hawthorn also made two changes.
Captain James Siciliy and youngster Calsher Dear will be missing due to injury, replaced by veteran Luke Breust and key forward Mitch Lewis.
