Zach Tuohy returns for his final match at GMHBA Stadium among three changes for Geelong’s Round 24 meeting with West Coast.
The Cats have regained midfielder Tanner Bruhn after a concussion suffered against Fremantle ruled him out of the loss to St Kilda, and veteran defender Jed Bews has been recalled from the VFL.
Gary Rohan, Mitch Knevitt, and Oisin Mullin have been dropped but retained as emergencies for the clash Geelong needs to win to ensure a double chance heading into September.
Tuohy announced the 2024 season will be his last earlier this week.
He joins Tom Hawkins in hanging up the boots.
Cats fans will have the chance to honour Hawkins’ contribution to the club when he walks a lap of honour following the match.
West Coast has made five changes.
Andrew Gaff has retired, Jeremy McGovern, Liam Ryan and Alex Witherden are injured, and Zane Trew has been dropped.
They’ve been replaced by Rhett Bazzo, Campbell Chesser, Ryan Maric, Jack Hutchinson, and Clay Hall.
Hall is the son of former Cats and Eagles forward Derek.
