The two-times Carji Greeves medallist hasn’t played since suffering a quad injury in the opening moments of the practice match against the Blues at IKON Park on February 21.
The meeting with the fifth-placed Carlton will be Guthrie’s first AFL game in just over 12 months after he didn’t appear at the top level again in 2023 following the Round 6 win over Sydney.
