RHYS Stanley has been dropped from the Geelong team for Sunday’s clash with Sydney at the SCG, with the Cats preferring Zac Smith as their ruck option.

Smith, whose only AFL match for the year was the Round 11 against the Swans, is among three inclusions for Geelong.

Jack Henry returns from being managed out of the loss to Hawthorn, while veteran midfielder Scott Selwood will place his first AFL match since last year’s elimination final loss to Melbourne.

Stanley joins Zach Tuohy and Gary Rohan (both managed) in going out of the team.

The Swans have made just the one change, with Jordan Dawson returning from suspension to replace the injured Will Hayward.

That means former Cat Dan Menzel will miss out on the chance of a return meeting with his former side.
