GEELONG will look to make it three consecutive wins to start a VFLW season for the first time in five years when it meets Port Melbourne at Deakin University on Saturday.
The Cats have been impressive in seeing off Carlton and Hawthorn to start their 2022 campaign and should start favourite against the winless Borough, who have again aligned to AFLW club Richmond.
Geelong has made three changes, with midfielder Zali Friswell and ruck Rene Caris dropped following the Cats’ AFLW loss to the Western Bulldogs, and Stephanie Williams returns after missing the VFLW victory over the Hawks.
Impressive performances against Hawthorn have seen Laura Gardiner and Madisen Maguire promoted to for Geelong’s AFLW clash with Richmond, while Breanna Pratt has been omitted.
