GEELONG Falcons duo Renee Tierney and Annie Lee will be given a chance at the next level after being named in the Geelong team for Saturday’s VFLW clash with Southern Saints.
Tierney has kicked seven goals in three NAB League games in 2021, and Lee has been in the Falcons’ best in all three of their wins this season.
The Cats, who are coming off an impressive win over Williamstown in Round 2, have also welcomed back Laura Gardiner after she was the carryover emergency for the AFLW clash with Carlton.
Bree Beckley also returns, while ruck Olivia Fuller has been named despite being forced off the ground early against the Seagulls with a back issue.
After being listed as an out following back-to-back strong performances, Georgie Clarke appears to return to AFLW level after being listed as an out following back-to-back.
The Cats match follows the Geelong Falcons meeting with the Sydney Swans Academy.
