WESTERN Australia’s border arrangements have resulted in a shift of Geelong’s AFLW clash with West Coast.
The Cats were due to play the Eagles on Sunday at 5:10pm AEDT.
However, that match-up will now be played at the same time on Monday.
“The match, previously scheduled to be played on Sunday, has been moved to Monday due to an update relating to the Western Australia border,” a statement from the AFL said.
“The afternoon slot allows for the Geelong Cats to return to Victoria on Monday night.”
Under the current system in Western Australia, the Cats will have to quarantine until midnight on Sunday, March 14, following their arrival in Perth.
Geelong will be chasing its first win of the season against an Eagles outfit that only has one victory to its name.
