The number 26 guernsey worn in a club record 359 games by Tom Hawkins now belongs to Geelong’s first pick in last week’s National Draft.
After being unallocated in the wake of the 11-time leading goalkicker’s retirement, South Australian acquisition Harley Barker has been given the honour of wearing the number in 2026
Barker, who is recovering from a ruptured ACL, joined the Cats with pick 25 from SANFL club Sturt.
Hawthorn best-and-fairest James Worpel will take over the number 29 vacated by two-time best-and-fairest Cam Guthrie.
The number 22 worn by Mitch Duncan on 305 occasions is now in the hands of Hunter Holmes, while rookie pair Jesse Mellor and Nick Driscoll will wear 25 and 27, respectively.
