All-Australian contender Jackie Parry will miss Geelong’s match-up with Fremantle after entering the concussion protocol.

Parry was forced from the ground during the final quarter of the Cats’ win over West Coast in Perth after the back of her head slammed into the turf in a marking contest.

The 30-year-old is having a career-best season, kicking 21 goals, to sit second only to Hawthorn’s Aine McDonagh in the race for the AFLW leading goalkicker title.

Key defender Claudia Gunjaca is a chance to return from what the club has labelled “a mild AC joint disruption” after copping the force of teammate Chantal Mason in the win over the GWS Giants in Round 9.

Irish star Kate Kenny is closing in on her first appearance of the season, listed as a test after battling a foot issue.

Draftee Renee Morgan is also a test after withdrawing from last week’s scrimmage for non-selected players due to groin soreness.

Winger Zali Friswell remains an outside chance of playing again in 2026, with her return from a stress reaction in her femur anywhere between 4-6 weeks.
