A whirlwind couple of weeks for Geelong draftee Shaun Mannagh will go to another level as the Cats prepare for a major milestone on Easter Monday.

After making his debut as the substitute on the night the Joel Selwood Stand was opened against St Kilda and playing his first full game in Tom Stewart’s 150th match at Adelaide Oval, Mannagh will make his first AFL appearance on the MCG as Tom Hawkins reaches the 350-game milestone.

“This weekend’s a huge one for the club with Tommy’s 350th,” Mannagh told K rock’s Tim and Jess.

“I think everyone in Geelong – the whole community – knows what he’s done for the team.

“350 games is pretty special; it’s pretty rare that people get there.

“Hopefully, I’m amongst it. But, if (I’m) not, it’s going to be a special (day) for Tom and his family.”

K rock Football is live from 2pm Monday via FM 95.5 across Geelong & the Surf Coast, FM 88.0 at the ‘G, and krockfootball.live
