Fellow veteran Mitch Duncan is now two weeks away after surgery on a shoulder injury suffered in the VFL.

However, premiership defender Jake Kolodjashnij’s return remains indefinite, with the window closing on a return this year, as Geelong’s VFL season has only three matches remaining.
