Geelong’s Gary Rohan has copped a one match suspension for rough conduct after a sling tackle during Easter Monday’s game against Hawthorn.
Rohan’s tackle on Hawthorn’s Changkouth Jiath was graded careless conduct, medium impact and high contact, which will see him miss the Cats ‘Gather Round’ clash with West Coast on Sunday.
Meanwhile a similar tackle by young Hawk Will Day has landed him in trouble, suspended for two matches for his dangerous tackle on Geelong’s Brad Close, with Day’s incident classed as ‘high impact’ – seeing him miss an extra match compared to Rohan.
