Saturday night lights for Cats

SATURDAY night home games against fellow finals contenders Western Bulldogs and St Kilda highlight the next three rounds of the AFL fixture for Geelong.

The AFL has confirmed the return meetings with the Dogs and Saints in rounds 20 and 21, respectively, will be 7:25pm bounces at GMHBA Stadium.

The Cats will head to the Gold Coast for the lone meeting with the Suns for the year the following week, with the start slated for 4:35pm.

“Rounds 20 to 22 will continue the great momentum we’ve seen all season with our final rounds showcasing top-of-the-table clashes around the country,” the AFL’s Executive General Manager Finance, Clubs and Broadcasting Travis Auld said

“Fans will be excited that as the season draws to a close it will be the best of the best who make finals.

“At this stage, the top eight is still wide open.”

The Round 23 fixture against West Coast at GMHBA Stadium will be confirmed later in the season.
