GEELONG has been boosted by the inclusion of Chloe Scheer and Georgie Rankin for Saturday’s crucial VFLW clash with Collingwood at GMHBA Stadium.

A win will see the Cats sit two games clear of the seventh-placed Magpies with six rounds to play.

Coach Andrew Bruce has made five changes for Geelong’s final home game of the season – and first at GMHBA Stadium.

AFLW-listed duo Carly Remmos and Gabbi Featherston have also been named, while GWV Rebels talent Paige Scott will make her debut.

Lujeyn Al-Hunedi, Brittany McLaughlin, Indya Kirby, Laura Ryan and Ava McKeegan have been omitted from the team that defeated the Western Bulldogs by 38 points.

Sheer, who joined Geelong after 17 games with Adelaide, played nine games and kicked eight goals in her first season at GMHBA Stadium.

Rankin was again a consistent performer after being voted into the Cats’ leadership group ahead of the season.
