GEELONG will give Max Holmes every chance to prove he’s overcome a hamstring injury ahead of Saturday’s AFL Grand Final after being named in the team for the clash with the Swans.
The Cats have named an unchanged squad, with Brandan Parfitt, Mark O’Connor, Sam Menegola and Jonathon Ceglar the emergencies.
One of that quartet will be named as medi-sub or be elevated into the final 22 if Holmes doesn’t play.
The grand final will hold extra significance for Zach Tuohy, who will make his 250th AFL appearance.
Captain Joel Selwood will break the record for the most finals played in VFL/AFL history with his 40th post-season appearance.
K rock is live from 12pm (AEST) on FM 95.5 across Geelong and the Surf Coast and FM 88.0 at the MCG.
The stream commences on krock.com.au and then switches to AFL.com.au and the AFL app commences at 2:00pm
