QUINTON Narkle has been squeezed out of the Geelong team among two changes for tomorrow (Thursday) night’s blockbuster clash with Melbourne at GMHBA Stadium.
The Cats will welcome back skipper Joel Selwood and young defender Sam De Koning for the first meeting with the Demons since last year’s preliminary final disaster.
Jake Kolodojashnij will be missing after suffering a concussion in last week’s win over North Melbourne.
Narkle has been named among the emergencies from which Geelong will select is medical substitute.
The Cats will also consider Francis Evans, Mitch Knevitt or Shannon Neale.
The Demons welcome back premiership captain Max Gawn and fellow big man Luke Jackson.
Sam Weideman and former Cat Mitch Brown have been dropped.
