At Selection – AFLW Preliminary Final

GEELONG has named key defender Anna Teague and young gun Becky Webster in its squad for Sunday’s AFLW preliminary final clash with Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.

Teague has been sidelined for the past fortnight with a back issue, while Webster has missed a month with an ankle injury.

The Cats have also included 2018 draftee Georgia Clarke in their 23-woman squad.

Phoebe McWilliams (broken hand) is the only confirmed out.

Meanwhile, key defender Meg McDonald and rookie Maddy McMahon have been named in the initial All-Australian squad.

McMahon is one four first-year players in contention for the final team to be announced at the W Awards on Tuesday, April 2.
