GEELONG has made an early call on the fitness of Patrick Dangerfield after ruling the star midfielder out of Saturday night’s clash against Gold Coast with an ankle injury.
Dangerfield is among three changes to the Cats’ line-up, with youngster Charlie Constable and ruck Ryan Abbott, who made his first appearance of the season in the win over the Western Bulldogs, omitted.
Tom Atkins and Rhys Stanley return from injury after both were withdrawn from the team despite being named last Thursday, while James Parsons will make his first appearance of 2019.
Esava Ratugolea, who was managed last week, is an emergency along with Constable, Sam Simpson and Zac Guthrie.
The Suns have made one change, with Chris Burgess replacing injured defender Sam Collins.
K rock is live from 5:30pm on FM 95.5 across Geelong and the Surf Coast, and via AFL.com.au or the AFL app.
