GEELONG has welcomed back veteran superstar Gary Ablett and ruckman Rhys Stanley for Friday night’s Round 12 opener against Richmond at the MCG.
James Parsons and Zac Smith have been dropped after two and one matches respectively.
Ablett returns from a one-week suspension, while Stanley missed the win over Sydney due to an adductor injury.
He also missed the win over the Western Bulldogs with a separate adductor problem.
Richmond has made four changes.
David Astbury and Brandon Ellis will miss through injury, while fellow premiership player Nathan Broad and Shai Bolton have been dropped.
Patrick Naish, son of former Tiger small man Chris, will make his debut, while Daniel Rioli, Jack Graham and Jacob Townsend have been included.
