ESAVA Ratugolea has failed to overcome a hamstring injury suffered in the Round 12 win over Richmond in time for Geelong’s clash with Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.
Ratugolea, who was forced from the field during the third quarter of meeting with the Tigers, has been replaced by Darcy Fort, who will make his third appearance in the Hoops.
Fort, who was drafted from SANFL club Central Districts, kicked three goals on debut against the Western Bulldogs in Round 9, but was quieter the following week on the Gold Coast and made way for Ratugolea in Round 11.
The Power has swung the axe following last week’s loss to Fremantle, with Paddy Ryder, Justin Westhoff, Sam Powell-Pepper and Jarrod Lienert all dropped.
Captain Ollie Wines, Brad Ebert, Charlie Dixon and Joel Garner have been included.
For Dixon, it’s his first game since Round 21 last year.
K rock is live from 5 on FM 95.5 across Geelong and the Surf Coast, and via AFL.com.au or the AFL app.
