GEELONG will make at least one change to its team to take on Hawthorn on Sunday, with Brandan Parfitt to miss with a back injury.

The Cats have named a 26-man squad, with Jake Kolodjashnij, who will return from a concussion that forced him out of last week’s win over St Kilda, part of the eight-man extended interchange bench.

Also in contention to take on the modern-day rival are James Parsons, Sam Simpson, Scott Selwood and Zac Smith, with the final 22 to be confirmed on Friday afternoon.

Geelong coach Chris Scott knows the 11th placed Hawks will be no pushover.

“It’s not always instructive, but if you go through the names on paper, their pretty good names; it’s a pretty good group of players, and I don’t think its vastly different to the team that finished in the top four last year,” he said.

“That should be enough, in and of itself, to make us realise we need to play really well to beat them.

“We’re relishing the chance to get back to the MCG, and they have played well there.”
