Geelong is expected to release further information on a knee injury suffered by ruck Rhys Stanley in the next 24 hours.
Cats football boss Andrew Mackie confirmed to K rock Football ahead of the loss to the GWS Giants that Stanley suffered an injury at training, keeping him out of action last weekend.
“He tweaked his knee at training; just a little bit of a medial (ligament),” Mackie said.

“So, not too long. (It) might be a week or so.
“We’ll give an update on that on Tuesday, but he didn’t play for that reason.”
