GEELONG forward Gary Rohan is facing a fortnight on the sidelines for striking Brownlow medallist Lachie Neale.

The Match Review Officer has assessed the off-the-ball first quarter incident as intentional conduct, medium impact and high contact, drawing a two-week suspension.

If Rohan chooses to accept the offer, he will miss the Cats’ MCG match-ups with Hawthorn and Melbourne.

He is the second Geelong player to find themselves on the sideline courtesy of the MRO after Patrick Dangerfield was handed a three-week ban for his bump on Adelaide’s Jake Kelly in Round 1.

The former Swan was one of two players cited from a sometimes fiery clash at GMHBA Stadium.

Lions forward Charlie Cameron has been offered a $2000 fine for striking Cats midfielder Shaun Higgins.
