GEELONG Coach Chris Scott has officially confirmed skipper Patrick Dangerfield as one of three inclusions to face Port Adelaide on Thursday night.
Young pair Oishin Mullin (injured) and Mitch Knevitt (omitted) are out, while defender Zach Touhy has been rested, but is named among Geelong’s emergencies, alongside Rhys Stanley, Jack Bowes and Knevitt.
Round 12 substitute Sam Simpson has not been named this week.
Port are red-hot heading into the blockbuster clash, coming off a current league-high 10-match win streak, with the Power bringing back defender Ryan Burton with Lachie Jones out injured.
Captain Tom Jonas will miss out again, unable to fit into an in-form lineup.
The match will also mark a couple of milestones, with Mark O’Connor set to play his 100th AFL game, while Tyson Stengle will celebrate his 50th AFL game.
