Veteran Geelong big Kate Darby looks set to miss Sunday’s elimination final after being offered a suspension following the release of the AFLW Match Review findings for Round 10.

32-year-old Darby, one of only four current Cats to have played in both of the club’s previous two finals, is facing a one-week ban for rough conduct on Hawthorn young gun Jasmine Fleming in Sunday’s 40-point win at GMHBA Stadium.

The incident was assessed as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.

No early plea is available to Darby, who has played 39 games with Geelong after two games with Carlton in the inaugural AFLW season in 2017.

Geelong has 11am Wednesday to decide whether it will accept the suspension or challenge it at the tribunal.
