A FRIDAY night home game against the currently unbeaten Casey Demons highlights the next block of confirmed match times for Geelong’s VFL team.
With AFL locking away rounds 16-19 last month, the VFL fixture for the corresponding four weeks – rounds 15-18 -has been revealed.
In Round 15, the Cats will travel around the bay to Frankston on Saturday, July 2 – the same night Geelong’s AFL team hosts North Melbourne at GMHBA Stadium.
The Round 16 match-up with the Demons is the following Friday night, July 8 – the day after the AFL cohort takes on Melbourne at home.
On Saturday, July 16, Geelong meets Carlton at Princes Park in a Round 17 clash ahead of that night’s AFL meeting between the Blues and Cats at the MCG.
Geelong, which sits sixth on the ladder heading into a clash with Footscray on Friday, has its fourth and final bye in Round 18.
