Kim Kardashian has once again attempted the California bar exam — and once again, the California bar exam said “no.”
The reality star confirmed the news on Instagram, writing:
“Well … I’m not a lawyer yet,” before joking, “I just play a very well-dressed one on TV.”
Honestly, no one doubted the “well-dressed” part.

She insisted she’s sticking with it, adding:
“Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up — just more studying and even more determination.”
In fairness, she has been studying Often, though, her “revision” looks suspiciously like a bikini shoot with the occasional highlighter in frame.
The wannabe-lawyer continued,
“Falling short isn’t a failure — It’s fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more. Let’s Go!!!!!”
(“Fuel” here meaning a content pipeline for the next season.)
The Long Way Around
Kardashian began her legal quest in 2018 via apprenticeship rather than law school — the same path someone without a billion dollars might take if they also had four kids, 400 businesses, and a camera crew.
Before she could even sit the real bar, she first had to pass the “baby bar.” She failed. Then failed again. Then failed again — all of which was televised, naturally.
“I failed! F**k! I failed,” she said after one attempt, calling another score “pretty much the same thing … [but] a little bit worse.”
She finally celebrated passing in 2021, shouting:
“OMFGGGG I PASSED THE BABY BAR EXAM!!!!”
And to be fair, she earned it — even when “I did have COVID on the 3rd try w a 104 fever but I’m not making excuses.”
No excuses. Just… data.
She Also Used ChatGPT. Because Why Not.
Just days before revealing her latest results, Kim admitted she’s been using ChatGPT to help her study.
“When I need to know the answer to a question, I’ll take a picture and snap it and put it in there,” she explained.
“It has made me fail tests … all the time. And then I’ll get mad and I’ll yell at it.”
Imagine yelling at AI for incorrect law answers — and then continuing to rely on it. Inspiring.

She added that ChatGPT kept trying to hype her up, telling her to believe in herself.
“It’s like a thing. I screenshot all the time and send it in my group chat. Like, can you believe this b-tch is talking to me like this? This is insane.”
Somewhere, an actual law professor is weeping into their casebooks.
The Internet Responds
Predictably, social media reacted with sympathy and grace.
Just kidding — they roasted her.
“You mean the woman who admitted to using ChatGPT for legal advice and believes the moon landing was fake didn’t pass the bar?? Color me shocked,” wrote one Reddit user.
Others noted she’s spent so long doing this that she could have gone the normal college → law school route and finished years ago — presumably without having to revise while reclining in a staged poolside tableau.
Still, a handful applauded her persistence, which is fair. If nothing else, she’s committed.
She Is Playing a Lawyer
Conveniently, her latest fail coincides with her new Hulu show All’s Fair, where she plays Allura Grant — a chic divorce lawyer who looks excellent in expensive tailoring and never once appears to struggle through exam prep.
She said,
“I got a lot of inspiration from Laura Wasser, who’s my family law attorney… She’s just like a badass woman that takes care of other women.”
See? She’s basically a lawyer. On television. Close enough.
“Falling Short Isn’t Failure”
Kim insists she’s not done. Honestly, at this point, the bar exam feels like the only thing left she hasn’t successfully monetised.
But one thing’s for sure:
Pass or fail, bikini or blazer, she’ll keep posting about it.
