Two games took place this weekend to decide who would be going to face off with the Broncos and the Storm in next week’s preliminary finals. On Saturday night the Sharks played the Raiders in Canberra. After a tight first half, the Sharks went on to embarrass the minor premiers Raiders and knocked them out of the finals in straight sets with a 12-32 victory to the Sharks. Last night saw the Bulldogs go head to head with the reigning four time champions Panthers. But after 10 minutes into the game the Panthers had a sizeable lead that only grew larger as the game went on. Concluding the Bulldogs season with a 26-46 victory for the Panthers.
Next week will see the Panthers play against the Broncos, and the Sharks taking on the Storm.

The final four played off in an action packed weekend at the MCG. On Friday night Geelong and Hawthorn battled it out for the first spot in the finals, but a dominant Patrick Dangerfield helped secure a 30-point victory for the Cats. On Saturday night we saw the reigning champion Lions face off against their 2023 rivals the Magpies. After a tight race for three-quarters, the Lions found the edge and pulled away for a sizeable 29-point win over the Pies. Next week the Cats will play the Lions in the Grand Final!

The race concluded with Verstappen taking first, George Russell in second, and Carlos Sainz Jr. taking third. Fellow McLaren team mate Lando Norris however finished in seventh.
