Grill’d first opened its doors in Geelong in 2014, and now, the brand is expanding with a new drive-thru, offering locals a faster, more convenient way to enjoy their favourite meals.
Opening Saturday, 14th February 2026, Grill’d South Geelong combines the speed of a drive-thru with the same fresh, made-to-order healthy burgers crafted from premium ingredients sourced from Aussie suppliers. For those who prefer to dine in, the restaurant offers a relaxed, full-service experience.
Located at 2-4 Fyans Street, right near GMHBA Stadium and a short drive from the waterfront, it is perfectly placed on one of the town’s busiest roads and an ideal spot for hungry footy fans and locals on the go.
The new restaurant is only Grill’d’s sixth drive-thru nationwide and marks another milestone in its growing presence across regional Victoria.
To celebrate, the first 754 customers on opening day will receive a free burger, a nod to Grill’d’s original store at 754 Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn, where it all began 21 years ago. Plus, Relish loyalty members can enjoy $10 burgers throughout the opening weekend.
Grill’d South Geelong will create over 50 local jobs and launch the popular Local Matters program to support grassroots organisations that make a difference in the area. During its first month, Local Matters will support:
- Lazarus Community Centre Ltd: Providing meals, clothing, showers, laundry, vouchers, and healthcare to around 500 people experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, and isolation in Geelong. Open 365 days a year.
- Read The Play Inc: A youth charity promoting mental health through sport. Its programs, delivered via local sporting clubs, help approximately 50 young people build confidence, resilience, and connection.
- Barwon Health Foundation: Raising funds to enhance care for women, children, and families in Greater Geelong. Donations support healthcare services, equipment, and programs, benefiting around 500 people in the region.
With the full Grill’d menu available, locals can choose from over 40 made-to-order options, all prepared fresh with locally sourced ingredients.
