Two youth have been arrested after allegedly riding e-bikes through red traffic lights in Geelong’s CBD.
Police received several Triple 0 calls from the public about a group dangerously riding in the city centre just after 10pm Saturday.
Officers say cars were also forced to take evasive action to avoid collisions.
A 12-year-old and 15-year-old were arrested in James Street, and have been processed for Conduct Endangering Serious Injury.
Police say they are also investigating other leads, and assure the community they are committed to ensuring road safety remains a high priority.
Anyone with information on any dangerous behaviour involving youths and e-bikes are being urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or call Geelong Police Station on 5225 3100 and ask for Senior Constable Matthew Richards or Constable Andrew Jansen.
