Barbeques Galore has been placed into voluntary adminstration.
The stores will continue to operate while options are explored.
The organisation has both company owned businesses and franchises across the country, with more than 500 people employed.

CEO David White says a restructure was necessary.
“Management was excited to turn around the business and move to the next evolution of the brand,” he said.
“Considerable progress has been made in recent months, leading to significant improvements across the business and operations; however, ongoing liquidity challenges have led to the necessary restructuring of the business.”
Locally there’s a store on Torquay Road here in Geelong.
