FRV crews called to South Geelong building

Crews have been called to reports of an electrical fire in a roof of a South Geelong building.

It happened around 1.30 pm Friday on Fyans Street.

There were reports staff were evacuated from the building.

Fire Rescue Victoria says firefighters ensured the scene was made safe when they arrived.

Building management arranged for an electrician to attend.
