A big step for the new Spirit of Tasmania ships.
Spirit four in Tasmania across the weekend to test the new Devonport berth as it prepares for sailings to Geelong.
The new ships are set to be in action from October.

Tasmania’s premier Jeremy Rockliff was one of the first to drive onto the new vessel as part of the testing.
“Pleased to report that the Brumby completed the trip and returned home safely,” he posted to social media.
Testing on the new berth will continue today.
Selected sailings on the new ships can be booked for sailings from October 31.
