An inmate has been taken to hospital following a fight between two prisoners Barwon Prison.
Police have been told the altercation happened at the Lara facility around 3.30pm Tuesday.
A 24-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, while a second man, aged in his 20s, was restrained by staff at the high-security complex.

Corrections Victoria says two staff members also received medical treatment.
Geelong detectives are investigating.
