The Spirit of Tasmania has turned into a rescue vessel after a boat capsized in Corio Bay.
The Spirit sent out life boats into the bay last night when a small vessel capsized in the bay.
Coast guard also deployed rescue boats, with seven people rescued from the water.

Victoria Police said they were assessed and treated by medical staff after being taken from the water.
An investigation is underway into the incident.
