Pavilion Biogas Pty Ltd wants to build the facility on Carrs Road to create organic fertiliser and biogas fuel.

The facility will be based between two broiler farms on land already owned by the company.

It is expected to process almost 30,000 tonnes of organic waste and chicken litter each year, generating more than 6,000 tonnes of fertiliser and biogas.

The biogas will be converted into electricity to power the facility and adjacent chicken farm.

The EPA says it took into account feedback from the community.

It says it has ensured conditions will manage issues such as noise and potential odour emissions.
