Drysdale will be without Jake Hargreaves for Sunday’s knockout semi-final against Modewarre after the Hawks’ leading goalkicker pleaded guilty to an incident in the qualifying final loss to Angelsea.

Hargreaves received a yellow card for striking Seas playing coach Jordan Keras during the opening quarter of the 29-point defeat.

AFL Barwon’s Match Review Panel assessed the incident as intentional conduct, head contact, and low impact, drawing a two-match suspension.

It’s Hargreaves’ second suspension in five weeks, having served a one-week ban for an incident in the Round 14 win over Portarlington.

He has kicked 36 goals for the season but was held goalless for just the fourth time in 2024 against Anglesea.
