Newcomb has unveiled its first signing of the Bellarine off-season, welcoming a player with premiership experience from the Ballarat League.
The Power have announced the arrival of Jack Bewley from Darley, where he played 75 senior games and was part of the Devils’ 2025 premiership.
He is the brother of former Fremantle player Brett, who has been previously linked with rival Bellarine clubs.
“Bewels brings an incredible depth of experience and talent to Grinter Reserve,” Newcomb said in a Facebook post.
The Power, which snapped a 19-year finals drought before bowing out of the premiership race after losing its first semi-final to Geelong Amateur, is expected to announce more recruits in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Modewarre has confirmed the signing of Ben Starkie from South Barwon.
Starkie has won the past two GFNL reserves goalkicking awards.
He finished with 48 goals in 2026, helping the Swans to the seconds premiership.
