A quartet of Geelong Falcons will have the chance to press their selection hopes ahead of the under-18 National Championships after being named in the Vic Country team for Sunday’s meeting with the AFL Victoria Young Guns.
Co-captain Lachie Jaques (St Mary’s), Newtown & Chilwell duo Noah Tullio and Edan Ibbetson, and Bell Park’s Zac McInness have been named for Sunday’s match at Craigieburn.
The Young Guns team features overage Falcons trio Liam Kershaw (St Joseph’s), Joe Pike (Barwon Heads) and Will McLachlan (Colac).
