Talented Lara youngster Jett Elek has crossed to GFNL rivals Leopold.
The 201cm, 18-year-old has been unveiled as a signing by the Lions this (Friday) morning.
Elek played 16 games for the Geelong Falcons in 2025 and was part of the Vic Country under-18 squad, making one appearance at the National Championships.
“I’m really keen to be part of a young group with tons of potential and to be dominant for years to come,” Elek said on Leopold’s social media post.
Elek, who will remain at the Falcons as a 19-year-old and is also training at Werribee, averaged 9.1 disposals and 3.1 marks at Talent League level, and also kicked five goals.
“Jetta offers genuine versatility as a key position player /ruck, with his athleticism, contested marking and work rate around the ground standing out,” the Lions said.
