Tigers extend Coach’s contract

DANIEL Fraser hasn’t taken charge of Grovedale in an official match yet, however, club officials have seen enough to extend his contract until at least the end fo 2022.

Fraser, who spent a season as an assistant to Simon Riddoch, before replacing him in September last year, has an option for a third season in the job in 2023.

“I think we all agree Fraz has been terrific during a very difficult period, and we are certain we have the right man in charge of our playing group,” a statement from the Tigers on Facebook said.

GFL: GLENN’S ROAD TO RECOVERY

The extension of Fraser’s contract follows news last week that former Geelong West GDFL coach Andrew Clark will return to the club as an assistant coach.

Grovedale also confirmed club great Paul Waldron and Rick Munn will continue in line coaching roles, with Kevin Hepburn to remain as fitness coach.
