GROVEDALE has wasted no time luring Andrew Clark back to the club, with the former Geelong West (GDFL) coach joining the Tigers’ senior coaching panel under Daniel Fraser.

Clark, who announced he was stepping down at West late last month spent five seasons at Burdoo Reserve from 2010-14 as an assistant coach.

His stint included Grant Tanner’s tenure, with Grovedale reaching its first GFL Grand Final in 2013.

He was then thrust into the top job late in the 2016 pre-season.

After overseeing a winless first season in charge, Clark had the Giants playing finals by 2018 – their first top-five finish since 1997.

He shared the role with Mitch Wight in 2019 and was due to do the same this year before the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in early June.
