JORDAN IVEY returns from suspension and Cassie Blakeway will make her first appearance of the 2020 AFLW season among two changes to the Geelong team for Friday night’s clash with North Melbourne.
They replace forward Georgia Clarke and defender Bec Goring, who have both been dropped.
Clark has played every game so far in 2020 but is averaging less than six possessions.
It’s the second time former vice-captain Goring has been omitted.
The match will see both Geelong captain Mel Hickey and Richelle Cranston play their 25th AFLW matches.
After both making 13 appearances for Melbourne across 2017-18, the duo will play their 12th games for the Cats.
The match-up is the first time Geelong and North Melbourne have met in AFLW completion, and marks the Cats’ debut Friday night appearance.
