GEELONG could move back into the VFL top-eight with a win over the lowly Northern Bullants at Preston City Oval on Sunday.

The Cats sit in 11th spot with a 4-2 win-loss record, having already had two byes.

Shane O’Bree’s final team will be dependent on the final AFL line-up and whether the medi-sub is used.

Emergencies Cooper Stephens, Mitch Knevitt and Francies Evans have all been named on the VFL bench.

Ollie Dempsey will play his first VFL game since making his AFL debut.

As previously reported, 2021 draftees Toby Conway and Flynn Kroeger will make their first appearances in the Hoops.

From the VFL list, ruck Ryan Abbott returns from injury, while Sunraysia product Oskar Faulkhead will make his first appearance for Geelong as the 23rd player.
