GEELONG has retained its home Community Series match against Essendon as part of the AFL’s streamlined pre-season competition.
The Cats will meet the Bombers at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday, March 6 at 7:10pm.
Geelong was due to play Essendon on Thursday, February 18 at GMHBA Stadium and St Kilda at Moorabbin on Thursday, March 4 in the original fixture.

However, with concerns about border closures, the AFL made the decision earlier this month to reduce the amount of games played.
