GEELONG will be without talented midfielder Tamara Smith for Saturday’s final round clash with Collingwood.

The Cats have confirmed that a minor quad issue will keep the best-and-fairest contender out of the meeting with the Magpies at Olympic Park Oval.

Also going out of the team that defeated Williamstown last week is Lujeyn Al-Huneidi.

Breanna Pratt and Ava McKeegan have been recalled.

A win for Geelong will guarantee it a home elimination final against the Southern Saints on Queen’s Birthday weekend.

However, a loss to Collingwood will leave the door open for the Saints to climb to fourth spot if they beat North Melbourne on Sunday morning.

The Cats defeated the Pies by 35 points when the two teams met at GMHBA Stadium in Round 8.
